Currency and Credit Cards
The Turkish currency is Turkish Lira. Coins come in the amounts of 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 Kuruş and 1 Lira, and notes in 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Lira. In March 2012, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey determined a unique sign to represent the Turkish Lira and facilitated recognition of the Turkish currency in Turkey and abroad. While "TL" is the abbreviation for the Turkish Lira, "
" is its sign. Either may be used depending on the context.

Medical Services
All participants will be responsible for payment of any medical, surgical, dental, hospital or ambulance services that they require in Turkey and are advised to make appropriate arrangements for insurance. Pharmacies (Eczane) are open from 09:00 – 19:00 on weekdays and Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays but there are always on duty pharmacies (Nöbetçi Eczane) open 24 hours in specified neighborhoods for medical emergencies.

Smoking is not permitted inside the facilities used for the meeting or inside any public places in Turkey.
