1.2 Staff and Related Statistics

Due to its strategic role in the Turkish economy and its diverse duties, the CBRT employs highly qualified staff from a variety of professions. By the end of 2025, there were 4,293 permanent staff positions, which were filled by 4,123 employees. By the end of the reporting period, 96.04% of all positions were filled.

In 2025, the CBRT hired 282 new employees, while 51 employees left the Bank. Thus, by the end of the year, the number of people on the Bank’s payroll had increased by 231 compared to the previous year, reaching 4,123 (Chart 1.2.1).

Of the CBRT’s staff, 62.96% are employed at the Head Office and 37,04% in branches. A breakdown of staff by age groups shows that the 41-50 age group makes up the majority (38.83%) of the staff (Chart 1.2.2). The share of staff holding associate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees is 90.64% (Chart 1.2.3).
