2.13 Training Activities
Training activities consist of courses organized by the CBRT and other institutions and organizations, as well as courses offered via the Digital Learning Platform.

A total of 65,553 participants attended 1,259 training courses in 2025 (Table 2.13.1). The CBRT staff received a total of 110,244 hours of training across all training activities. The average annual learning hour per person was 25.70.

A breakdown of training activities by training method reveals that in 2025, 93.59% of activities were e-learning, 3.39% were virtual classroom (online), and 3.02% were in-class (Table 2.13.2).
2.13.1 Training Programs Organized by the CBRT
In 2025, the CBRT held 76 different training courses in 177 groups. A total of 9,805 participants attended training programs adding up to 43,268 hours.
Of the 177 training groups held in 2025, 104 were in-class, 48 were virtual classroom sessions, and 25 were conducted via e-learning.

In 2025, 48.66% of training activities organized by the CBRT were composed of legal and compulsory training courses, 42.89% were technical and functional development training courses, while 4.35% were orientation programs, and 4.10% were competence development training courses (Table 2.13.1.1). Within this scope, throughout 2025, training programs on law, regulations and accounting, business operations and practices, banking and finance, information technology, programming and artificial intelligence, branch operations and banknote handling, auditing, in-house instructor training, and orientation programs tailored to particular titles were organized by the CBRT.
2.13.2 Training Programs Organized by Other Institutions and Organizations
In 2025, a total of 96 CBRT employees participated in 24 short-term training programs organized by other institutions and organizations in Türkiye. Furthermore, a total of 59 employees participated in 49 different training programs organized by other central banks and international organizations.
As part of graduate studies in Türkiye, 120 employees, 41 of whom enrolled in 2025, pursued their master’s and Ph.D. studies in 2025. As part of graduate studies abroad, nine employees commenced their master’s degrees and Ph.Ds. on external scholarships, and two employees began their master’s and PhD studies on unpaid leave. Five employees who had previously taken up their studies continued their education on unpaid leave, while seven employees completed their master’s degrees and took office at the Bank.
As a part of the academic staff assignment, nine CBRT employees were assigned to teach semester courses at universities, and 83 employees were assigned as short-term trainers to 14 different institutions and organizations.
