In 2016, several projects and infrastructure work have been carried out by the General Directorate of Information Technologies. In this context, the new projects and infrastructure work aimed to improve the services provided to banks and institutions, enrich Bank applications and strengthen the Bank’s technological infrastructure. Additionally, our Bank has started work on a digital transformation program which aims to carry out projects in areas such as big data and business analytics, mobility, user experience, biometric technologies and artificial intelligence. Our plans for 2017 include establishing the Information Technologies (IT) governance structure, improving the IT processes in line with best practices and increasing the effectiveness of IT quality and risk management mechanisms, which are critical success factors for digital transformation.
